The business of Lumen Christi Health Care Inc. is managed by its Board of Directors and Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) consisting of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, pharmacist and consumer representative. LCHC’s governing body has ultimate responsibility and legal authority and accountability for its operation. In addition, the governing body has responsibility for the following:
- Ensuring compliance with standards of regulatory agencies;
- Approaching and approving a qualified administrator/supervising nurse;
- Arranging for and/or approving other key professional staff members;
- Adopting a periodical reviewing of by-laws or an acceptable equivalent; overseeing the management and fiscal affairs of the agency.
